Raúl Sánchez

After studying at the School of Architecture in Granada, Raúl Sánchez founded his architecture and design firm in Barcelona in 2005. The five-member team of Raúl Sánchez Architects works on a broad palette of projects worldwide. The studio is mainly dedicated to interior design, but public architecture and urban planning designs are also part of the work spectrum. Close attention is paid to the influence of natural light and the use of diverse building materials and textures. The practice is known for its bold and skillful use of colours, which has become a signature element. A prime example of this architectural language can be seen in the small residential building in Barcelona, where the architects demonstrate their ability to create impressive spatial qualities within a limited space. Raúl Sánchez Architects has received numerous awards, including the Dezeen Prize 2022 as “Emerging interior design studio of the year“.
