New Building for the Kunsthaus Zürich
The new building by David Chipperfield Architects Berlin doubles the space of the Kunsthaus Zürich, making it Switzerland’s largest art museum. The cubic structure follows the model of the neighbouring Kantonschule and takes up most of the building site, which is delimited by three roads. This atmospheric, tightly woven film by 9sekunden invites viewers on a voyage of discovery that uses contemplative images to show the interplay between architecture and urbanity.
