The leading trade fair BAU is back in Munich as an in-person event. From 17 to 22 April 2023, some 2,000 exhibitors will present innovative construction materials and building systems – the opportunity for planners, architects, and craftspeople to gain an overview of the latest products, developments, and trends.

Forum Day
Detail is organizing Forum Day on 18 April together with BAU 23. Top-class speakers will present innovative projects addressing the trade fair’s key themes. Eight inspiring presentations look at how to tackle the challenge of climate change, the future of housing, the important role of digital transformation in the future, and the great opportunities in resources & recycling.
The full-day event takes place in Forum Hall C2 at Messe München.The architectural associations Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hesse, Schleswig-Holstein, Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony have been asked to recognize participation as continuing education.

Modular Construction Tours
In addition to the four key themes of BAU 2023, modular construction is another important theme and highlight of the fair.
From 17 to 22 April 2023, manufacturers of innovative, prefabricated modules will be presenting themselves in the Atrium of the Exhibition Centre. You can expect best-practice examples and insights into digital tools, exhibits and sample modules.
As a partner of the fair, our DETAIL experts for modular construction will take you on an inspiring guided tour to the manufacturers. You will get to know the companies and will also learn everything about their new products and developments in the modular construction industry.
