Engineer turned photographer, Erik Johansson, is responsible for these photo manipulations that use a combination of traditional photography with Photoshop to give voice to his rampant imagination. Aside from being very well done, the images have a quality about them that makes us rethink everyday scenes that we normally take for granted. Johansson, who works out of Berlin, describes himself as a photographer and retouch artist. It is telling that he has had no formal training in either of these fields, but rather learned his craft through experimentation, and an artists desire to creatively produce. Gratitude to Taxi.
