World's tallest climbing wall, Groningen, Netherlands.
It is a tall statement for a flat country. The climbing wall at Groningen, in the Netherlands, is almost 37 metres high and is named Excalibur after the legendary King Arthur's sword.
With its pronounced overhang, the structure presents a real challenge for enthusiasts of the sport. More interestingly for architects perhaps, is the presence the oversized building creates on the surrounding flat landscape.
Quite an accent in a land where long low structures are predominant.
