Doors Flush with the Wall

For a new detached house near Herrenberg, the client opted for flush-mounted doors with aluminium frames that underline the minimalist interior. The slim type BZS door frames from Küffner can be flush on the hinge or ­opposite-hinge side. With a width of ­18 mm, the doors appear narrowly framed. The 60-mm-thick door leaves are also equipped with concealed hinges and magnetic locks. The transition of the frames to ­the wall and floor is formed by wall-integrated flush skirtings from the same manufacturer. The BZS model is suitable for installation in solid and dry construction walls.
