Thomas Fischer Architekten
After graduating in architecture under Hans Kollhoff at ETH Zurich, Thomas Fischer worked with Renzo Piano (RPBW) in Paris and Dolf Schnebli (sam) in Zurich. After a three-month study trip to the East, he launched his own architectural firm in 2001: Thomas Fischer Architekten, a hub for architecture and urban planning expertise, is focusing on public construction in culture, sport, health, and education. Over the past 15 years, the firm has pioneered prototype school buildings, recognized for their compact design and excellence in daylight utilization, land use efficiency, and sustainability.
