The Flowing Garden
In the Chinese province of Fujian, More Than Arch Studio have designed a courtyard house with a labyrinthine interior. The luxurious residential complex is home to two entrepreneur brothers and their respective families. Each of the two-storey wings delimits the complex to the north and south. Between the two wings, single-storey structures open onto inner courtyards. Skylights and sunken patios allow daylight in, even into the underground rooms. This meditative video leads viewers through the extensively flowing living landscape.
