Temporary Design Show in Venice
At its temporary showroom in the Arsenal in Venice, the bathroom equipment company Ideal Standard is showcasing new collections and products.
In Venice the bathroom equipment company Ideal Standard is currently showcasing its new product series, which include eco-sustainable Alu+ shower systems, the I.life ceramic range in glossy grey, the minimalist SOLOS collection for spa-like shower experiences and the bathroom series La Dolce Vita. The focus of all the series is on sustainability.
Alu+ shower system
Alu+, the manufacturer's latest shower system, becomes available in June 2023 in three low-sheen finishes: Silk Black, Rosé and Silver. Focusing on elegance and sustainability, the items in the collection come in recycled aluminium with an 84% recycled content and with plastic components in drinking-water-compliant polymers. The hand spray and the extra-large showerhead offer two spray modes: rainshower and SilkRain offering ultra-fine water droplets. Flow regulators decrease output to 8 litres per minute in the hand spray and 12 litres per minute in the rainshower. All the items in the Alu+ series can be combined with the entire portfolio of Ideal Standard products.

Glossy Grey
The I.life B series is now also available in Glossy Grey, a shiny grey finish for vanity units, WCs and bidets designed in collaboration with the Palomba Serafini Associati (PS+A) studio. The collection is suitable for all sizes and shapes of bathrooms, and can likewise be combined with the bathroom manufacturer's entire portfolio of products, such as Silk Black fittings, accessories and shower cabins as well as fittings in chrome or PVD colours. RimLS+ technology stands for efficient flushing, whereby the absence of an overhanging rim facilitates bowl cleaning.

La Dolce Vita
The La Dolce Vita series comprises solutions for the complete bathroom, and will be supplementing Ideal Standard's Atelier Collections as of January 2024. In keeping with the company's Singular philosophy, it will be possible to combine the products in the series with others in the manufacturer's portfolio. Those in search of a statement item and with sufficient space in their bathroom can decide on a freestanding bathtub; the respective fittings are available in chrome or PVD finishes. The toilets are equipped with AquaBlade technology or, in the case of wall-mounted models, with RimLS+. FirmaFlow ceramic cartridges are to ensure that the fittings have a long service life.
For the colourful La Dolce Vita collection, designer Robert Palomba was inspired by the Italian lifestyle.

Showering like in a spa
Solos is also part of the Atelier Collections. The minimalistically styled collection will be launched in September 2023, and will offer various intuitively operated showering modes complemented with integrated light. The series will be available in finishes such as chrome, Silk Black or PVD.
Water flow can be adjusted with gentle push-and-turn movements, and the user can switch between the rainshower and hand spray. Remote control is even available for the flush-mounted model. The extra-large hand spray enables changes in shower mode with the Navigo push knob. Rainshower heads are available in two sizes, both with or without a lighting function, for wall or ceiling installation.

Joint-CEO Jan-Peter Tewes sees Ideal Standard on the right path to a sustainable way of life with these new products. To reduce carbon emissions, the company also cooperates with the startup Up2You and supports two climate protection projects in Africa. HK
