Conditions of participation

Participation in the lottery of DETAIL Business GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organiser, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.

Subscribe to our newsletter from 17 April 2023 (CET), 00:00 hrs until 22 April 2023 (CET), 23:59 hrs and take part in the lottery.

The prizes are:

The duration of the lottery is from 17 April 2023 (CET), 00:00 hrs to 22 April 2023 (CET), 23:59 hrs. During this period, users will have the opportunity to enter the lottery online.

In order to participate in the lottery, it is necessary to complete and submit the entry form displayed. Participation is only possible within the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the lottery.

Only one submitted entry per participant will be entered into the lottery. It is strictly prohibited to use multiple email addresses to increase the chances of winning.

The participant must be registered with the DETAIL Newsletter for at least the duration of the lottery.

Participation in the lottery is free of charge.

Natural persons over the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

Should a participant be restricted in his/her legal capacity, the consent of his/her legal representative is required.

All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the lottery and employees of the operator as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the lottery. In addition, the operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example

(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the lottery, (b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the lottery.

The winners will be determined after the closing date by a random draw among all participants. If the lottery is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the lottery.

The winners of the lottery will be informed of the prize via a separate email no later than 2 weeks after the end of the lottery.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner or to the legal representative of the underage winner. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash.

Any costs incurred for the dispatch of the prizes will be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 2 weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

The organiser expressly reserves the right to terminate the lottery without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the lottery from running as planned.

Participation in the lottery requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname, federal state, country and email address are true and correct.

The organiser points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without their consent.

An exception to this rule is the company vertriebsunion meynen GmbH & Co. KG (Große Hub 10, DE-65344 Eltville am Rhein), Zinio LLC (US headquarters at 7900 International Drive, Suite 800, Bloomington, MN 55425) and for the designer chair Thonet GmbH (Michael-Thonet-Straße 1, 35066 DE-Frankenberg), which must collect, store and use the data for the purpose of conducting the lottery.

The participant may revoke his/her declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing by e-mail to online@detail.de. After revocation of consent, the participant's personal data collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

The operator's lottery is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Should any provision of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions of participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that most closely approximates the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole in these Conditions of Participation.
