Sound Absorption in the Classroom

The new nursing school in Ettelbrück, Luxembourg, can accommodate 430 student nurses. All the classrooms and corridors are equipped with Lignature surface elements, Acoustics type 3.1. The underside has a strip perforation in a 40 × 40 mm grid, while the hole diameter is 20 mm. The surfaces are designed in visible quality towards the inside of the room and are provided with light-protection. In this way the elements retain their light colour.
