Solar Roof Tile

The flat roof tile Planum from Nelskamp is now also available as a monocrystalline solar variant. The target group is architects and building owners who prefer an aesthetic design language on totally smooth roofs. The cover width of a Planum PV module weighing around 8.5 kg is 1.5 m, and the cover length is between 0.325 and 0.340 m. The size is ­intended to allow good use of space, especially on hipped and tent roofs. To generate 1 kWp, 11.36 modules are required. This corresponds to a minimum cover area of 5.7 m². Because it is fixed with just three screws, the Planum PV tile is quick to install. The manufacturer provides a ten-year warranty for the solar system, and guarantees 90 % of the nominal output over 10 years and 80 % over 25 years.
