Ring-shaped Light Frame

Designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Alejandro Aravena of Elemental, the ring-shaped light object »O« by Artemide with its reduced materiality blends in with its surroundings and frames them in sections. The design for this outdoor luminaire, which is also available as a free-standing or pendant luminaire, is based on the idea that public spaces are generally overloaded with light. When the light is switched off, the ring is barely perceptible. It only lights up when required, as it is controlled via sensors.
