Real Wood for Exteriors
Foto: Déco
Italian manufacturer Déco offers tropical wood planks for outdoor terraces and facade cladding. One of the species is Angelim Amargoso, a South American wood type with a warm, umber tint similar to teak. When properly installed, the manufacturer says it is among the most stable and reliable woods for outdoor applications. Déco offers the planks in the small format of 19 × 90 cm.
With the Ipé Lapacho planks from Déco, buyers have more format diversity. Ipé wood has the reputation of being the hardest wood in the world, harder even than teak, with an outdoor life of up to 25 years. Its colouration ranges from brown-olive to reddish tones with characteristic light and dark stripes. Déco offers the Ipé wood planks in sizes from 19 × 90 cm (Small) to 20 × 140 cm (Large), including with a tongue and groove profile on request.
