Radical Re-Use: Anders Lendager on Circular Construction
Do you own a disused wind turbine, a hundred empty beer kegs or a building ready for demolition? Hand them over to Anders Lendager, and he will convert them to building materials. The Copenhagen-based architect has made it his lifelong quest to overcome the notion of waste in architecture. To promote the idea, he has founded not only an architects’ office, but also a business consultancy and several manufacturing companies of upcycled building materials. In our interview, he explains the economy of circular construction and discusses the aesthetic potential of re-use and upcycling in architecture.
