How has the daily routine changed in your office?
Isabella Leber: Actually, not much has changed here. We are still talking, still drawing and thinking. One employee who has recently undergone surgery is working from home. In the office, we practice social distancing and sometimes laugh like crazy when our paths cross in funny ways.
How are you dealing with the coronavirus crisis − are your projects continuing?
Yes, projects are continuing. There’s even work at the building sites. Some interactions with specialist planners who have been directly affected by the coronavirus are slowing down, and there have been a few delays. This means we can finish things off and catch up in areas where we had fallen behind.
What tips do you have for your colleagues?
Stay calm: you can’t change anything anyway. Finish off that work you’ve been putting off; spend time with your family; cook something good; buy flowers …
What are your plans for the time after the quarantine?
Nothing special. I’ll be happy to keep working, to try out some demanding architecture, visit friends, cook and buy flowers …
Our Italian employee has suggested this: “changing from Christmas to Easter decorations”.
