Our Favourites: Three Modular Buildings Made of Wood

Modular Living Lab by Aixopluc

Aixopluc have transformed this former photo studio, located above their own office in Reus, into a laboratory for living. It is equally guest house, prototype and exposition; it is intended to provide inspiration and a display model for the use of unoccupied buildings. On site, potential residents can get an idea of the modular furnishing concept and flexibly adapt it to their own needs.

Modular and Monochromatic: Apartment House in Heilbronn

A modest building site served the Joos Keller architecture studio in realizing the idea behind this project: the available space was to accommodate as much living space as possible. The result is these micro-apartments, whose intelligent organization and high-quality materials offer a pleasant place to stay despite their lack of size.
