At the end of the year, we present the three best videos of 2021 that have convinced our editorial team in every respect. The videos about the primary and vocational school in Vienna, a communal house in Hanoi and a house made of hemp in Cambridgeshire offer deeper insights into the buildings.
This film by Wolfgang Thaler takes us on a tour of the primary and vocational school that opened in autumn 2020 on Meidlinger Längenfeldgasse in Vienna. The schoolhouse by PPAG architects joins a new all-day primary school for 425 children and 2 vocational schools for 630 trainees.

Prototype House Made of Hemp
The film director Steve Barron commissioned Practice Architecture to support him in building a house for himself. In collaboration with engineers and material specialists, the architects developed large panels out of hempcrete – a mixture of lime and hemp.
