Nord Architects
In 2014, Morten R. Gregersen and Johannes M. Pedersen founded Nord Architects in Copenhagen; 14 years later Mia Baarup Tofte came on board as a partner. The Danish trio plans and builds cultural buildings, such as the Marine Education Centre in Malmö, as well as health and housing projects. With their concepts for learning landscapes and spaces for healthy ageing, a key focus is on how people interact in their built environment. The Danish architects seek to create sustainable habitats, offering the community multifaceted and inspiring environments. User needs and participation as well as interdisciplinary collaborations play a major role for Nord Architects in the design and planning process.
