Mobile 3D Data Acquisition

The BLK2GO portable wireless laser scanner from Leica Geosystems digitises rooms in 3D in real-time using images and dimensionally-accurate point clouds. According to Leica, the integrated slam technology allows for the precise determination of the movement path and position of the surveyor, who can capture data across or under objects, around corners or up and down staircases. Similar in nature to a flashlight for visualising a three-dimensional environment, the BLK2GO automatically builds up 3D point clouds while in motion. The device scans with a rechargeable battery with a runtime of 45 minutes. All images and 3D data are captured and merged to finish of the scanning process.
