Lounge Chair from Doshi Levien

With Lepal, Arper is presenting a new upholstered armchair by British design duo Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien at the Salone del Mobile 2024. The design of the Lepal Lounge Chair plays with contrasts that together create a balance between the hard seat shell, the upholstered inside and the angled legs.

Thanks to its geometric shape, the curved seat shell and the upholstery, the lounge chair enables an upright sitting position and relaxed sitting. At the same time, it offers a stable but lightweight structure that is ideal for resting or chatting, as well as for reading or working in the home or contract sector.

The armchair can be configured with upholstery in one or two different materials and with a metal or wooden frame. The wood is FSC-certified and the metal frame is powder-coated. According to the manufacturer, the upholstery and all internal components are processed without glue, so that the furniture can be completely dismantled into its individual parts and the various materials can be recycled and reused.
