Louise McMahon
After studying at the University of Nottingham and Bath, architect Louise McMahon joined Simon Conder Associates and then launched her own practice in East London in 2017. Together with Sean McMahon, she designed Leyton House in London in 2020 as her first own work. The building has garnered widespread attention and has won numerous awards including an RIBA London award and is currently shortlisted for the Stephen Lawerence prize. The slender corner row house demonstrates a compelling use of materials and spatial complexity.
