Lighting Concept for a Headquarters
The Bau4 team of architects has created a new headquarters building in Karlsruhe for CML, a global manufacturer of printed circuit boards and sourcing solutions for the automotive industry. The lighting concept created by Artemide’s planners takes into account daylight and glare-free requirements, and is precisely tailored to the different zones and rooms. It includes the Alphabet of Light system, consisting of basic geometric modules that can be assembled into shapes. Thus, light lines on the ceiling of the office area visualize the tracks of a printed circuit board. Artemide Tagora 970 round pendant luminaires illuminate conference rooms, while in the atrium the A.24 Circular pendant luminaires have the same shape as the surrounding acoustic panels.
