Large-format OSB

MMD Magnumboard Manufaktur Germany offers large-format, solid elements made of MagnumBoard OSB without the need for joinery. The company produces solid wall, roof and ceiling elements in standard formats from Swiss Krono OSB/4. The individual prefabrication for the respective customer projects is carried out by the woodworkers who source the blanks. According to MMD, the elements are jointless, airtight and extremely dimensionally stable. They are available in thicknesses between 7.5 and 25 cm and slab dimensions up to 2.80 × 15 m for quick installation on the construction site. The panels can be coated directly without planking, which saves not only time but also costs. MagnumBoards can be used to produce components with a fire resistance of up to 120 minutes. According to the manufacturer, their swelling, curvature and shrinkage behaviour is extremely low.
