krft
The Amsterdam-based practice krft, founded by Oscar Vos and Thomas Dieben, works across the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Vos and Dieben met in the early 2000s while studying architecture at TU Delft, then went on to gain formative experience at Behnisch + Partner and Claus en Kaan. In 2008, they co-founded denieuwegeneratie with Sanne Oomen and from this collaboration, krft emerged in 2015. With a focus on public architecture, krft strives to integrate social priorities, including climate protection, into their designs, addressing these concerns with an emphasis on timelessness and durability. A recent example of this approach is the Brighton College Performing Arts Centre.
