Jacques Moussafir

Founded in Paris in 1998 Moussafir Architectes covers the entire range of architectural projects, from single family residential to large scale housing, from office, research and higher education facilities to concert halls. For Jacques Moussafir, rather than producing imagery, the task of architecture is to provide an experience of space to be perceived by all senses. This is expressed in the tactile contrasts between materials in his buildings, for instance, when he juxtaposes reflective metal with warm surfaces made of wood or natural stone.
