Headquarters in Timber Construction by Snøhetta
For the new headquarters of the adventure travel firm ASI, Snøhetta involved the employees in developing an office concept that best reflects the company's sustainability agenda. Although sited just a few kilometres south of Innsbruck, the four-storey volume is practically surrounded by trees and provides extensive views into the green surroundings. Three sides of the building are wrapped in suspended latticework with 17 different summer and evergreen species growing in large steel planters, thus changing the appearance of the facades over the course of the seasons. Inside the building, spacious reception and communal areas supplement the diversely designed workplaces and foster communication between the employees.
