Based in Vienna, FSA is a locally rooted practice primarily active in German-speaking countries. Founded by Regina Freimüller-Söllinger in 2007, the international team of 10 to 15 architects and urban planners combines extensive expertise with a readiness to embrace new ideas. Their work focuses on sustainable urban transformation and large-scale residential projects, such as Woody-M in Vienna. The firm’s portfolio also includes educational buildings, urban development concepts, and revitalisation projects, including those in rural brownfield sites.
In April, our readers were particularly enthusiastic about the following three contributions: Winners of the Mies van der Rohe Award 2024 and two residential buildings in Amsterdam and Melbourne.
