Güldenhof in Stechlin by Heim Balp Architekten

In the Brandenburg town of Stechlin, Heim Balp Architekten have refurbished an old four-sided farm complex as a communal living and working space for conceptual artist Danh Võ and his colleagues. The Vietnamese-born Dane has been operating his studio on the former pig farm, which measures 5000 m², since 2017.

Single-Family Home of Insulating Concrete by Pedevilla Architects

For a young family, Pedevilla Architects have realized a super-efficient house set on a slope. The tower-like monoliths of insulating concrete make perfect use of the building lot.

Elbtower in Hamburg by David Chipperfield Architects Berlin

Once completed, the Elbtower will set an exclamation mark into the east end of Hamburg’s HafenCity. In planning the tower, David Chipperfield Architects combined parametric tools with a BIM model right from the start.
