Project documentation with detailed drawings

Since 2014, Detail has provided a digital solution for such needs. The Detail Inspiration knowledge platform contains all the project documentation ever published in Detail, along with a wealth of additional content. This includes over 6,000 German-language and 4,000 English-language articles, complete with photos and detailed drawings. The collection is continually expanding as new content from recent issues is regularly added to Detail Inspiration. The platform allows you to perform free text searches or filter results by year of construction, location, building type, or construction method.

Improved search options

Recently, we have upgraded the platform’s technical infrastructure and introduced several new features. The refined filters allow for more targeted searches, while the improved keyword search saves time. You can now even search for individual images. All articles can be organised and saved in personalised watchlists.

We worked closely with a focus group of architects to develop many of these new features. And we are not stopping here: over the coming months, we will continue to improve Detail Inspiration by integrating new content and search functionalities. Detail Inspiration is available through numerous customised subscription models, including single or multi-user licences, digital-only subscriptions, or combinations with the print edition.
