Axially-parallel Light for High Quality Architecture

The Parelia LED from Trilux offers new creative freedom. As a solution that is parallel to the building axis, it opens up the room and avoids the typical light strips with a window-parallel arrangement. As a strip light, the Parelia LED can be used to illuminate even large office spaces, open-space concepts and workbenches. Another advantage is that with arrangement parallel to the building axis, the luminaire can be planned independently of the axial dimension of the building. The Parelia LED was developed in cooperation with the architects Graft and was awarded the Good Design Award 2018, the Design Plus Award 2018 and the German Design Award 2018.
   
The Trilux Parelia LED combines direct and indirect light components and produces a balanced, shadow-free light. At 2.10 m long and with a special light guidance system, the Parelia LED is ideal for illuminating office workplaces. Due to the high indirect component, the light appears pleasantly homogeneous and glare-free. If the luminaire is placed centrally above a desk, the centre section means that light incidence in the working area is lateral with no direct light dispersion. This prevents reflected glare on reflective surfaces such as tablets and mobile phone displays and facilitates the perception of object details. On request, the Parelia LED can be integrated into the Trilux light management system LiveLink and controlled by built-in sensors. The luminaire is also available as an Active version, with which the light colour can be individually regulated. This solution is suitable for office concepts that with Human Centric Lighting use particularly high-quality, user-friendly light.
