Anna Noguera, Javier Fernández
Anna Noguera studied architecture in Barcelona before working for Torres Lapeña for several years. In 1992, Noguera founded her own practice and has since realized social housing projects, educational buildings, and health facilities for the public administration – with a focus on sustainability and contextuality. Javier Fernández is the founder of J2J Architects, which, in addition to classic architectural and urban design projects, is also devoted to research. Fernández gained previous experience by working with several well-known architects, including Norman Foster, Alejandro Zaera-Polo, Nikken Sekkei, and Shigeru Ban. The two architectural firms collaborated on the Turó de la Peira sports centre in Barcelona.
