Andree Weissert
Andree Weissert trained as a carpenter before gaining a degree in architecture in Hamburg. After two years at Sauerbruch Hutton Architects, he founded Studio Andree Weissert (SAW) in Berlin in 2009, embarking on a multi- faceted career as a designer, craftsman, writer, and lecturer, with particular emphasis on intricate conversions in existing buildings, furniture design, and complete interiors. For furniture manufacturer Tecta, he designed furniture ranges, renovated company offices, and planned a new warehouse. His first nonfiction book, “Ich bin die Stadt, das Klima und die Transformation” (I Am the City, the Climate, and the Transformation), will be published in fall 2023.
