Airtight Window Joints

The TP654 Illmod Trio 1050 multifunctional tape from Illbruck is a professional window sealing tape that complies with the German Energy Law (GEG). The sandwich geometry requires an airtight, moisture-variable membrane in the middle and two airtight grey foam layers on the outside. The interaction of the intelligent membrane and the two grey layers ensures continuous contact of the tape with the wall and the component. The multifunctional sealing tape is used for the standard-conforming sealing of windows and doors against rain and offers a high level of air tightness, heat and sound insulation. Thus, with TP654 the window connection joint becomes an effective component of the required continuous airtight building envelope. Due to its effectiveness, the product meets the air tightness classification for passive houses.
