Ahrend 380 by Ineke Hans
The Ahrend 380 by Ineke Hans was on display at last week’s Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
The Arnhem-based designer Ineke Hans created for the company Ahrend, the chair Ahrend 380 as a very comfortable multifunctional chair made out of sustainable materials.
The Ahrend 380 chair is completely made from injection moulded, recycled PET, and was designed with the Cradle-to-Cradle idea in mind: Not only are its materials recyclable, but it is also easily disassembles into just two elements - a seat and a back. The back, designed to be sliding into the seat, is flexible and adds greatly to the seating comfort.
The Ahrend 380 is lightweight and stackable to reduce the amount of space needed when transported or stored away. It comes with and without armrests, with black, white and blue legs while the back and arms are always white and glossy.
The Ahrend 380 is accompanied by round or rectangular tables with solid white tops and legs that visually and color-wise match the chair.
Ineke Hans’s Arend 380 is a sustainable chair, timeless and contemporary in its design that will fit in a lot of different settings.
