Acoustic Ceiling for Open-plan Offices

According to a recent Ecophon survey, around 40 % of employees in open-plan offices feel permanently annoyed by being able to hear their colleagues’ small talk. In order to remedy this situation, the manufacturer has developed Master Eg, a new acoustic ceiling especially for open-plan offices and heavily frequented areas.

The suspended ceiling panels are intended to promote speech intelligibility, well-being and productivity. The system has black coated edges and a black substructure that hides the load-bearing panel edges. This results in a floating appearance that emphasizes the ceiling elements and allows the substructure to visually recede. Four formats and 22 Akutex FT colours enable individual design variants and patterns. Architects can create their own designs with different panel combinations.
