Knitted Sound Absorbers

The Relax Tube cylindrical suspended sound absorbers by Ydol visually emphasise the air space. Due to their slim, filigree design, they produce a large acoustically-effective surface in the room. The strong sound-absorbing properties are created by a broadband absorber construction and the consistent use of high-quality knitted merino wool as a cover for the cylinder. Fine merino sheep wool, gently dyed according to traditional methods, is used as the raw material for the Jil acoustic fabric. This is knitted exclusively in the company’s own factory in a complex process and can be ordered in 36 colours and any special colour. The sound-absorbing cylinders are available in the lengths of 40, 60 and 80 cm.
