Early Model Testing

New functions in the BIM Booster from Mensch und Maschine (MuM) help Revit users test building models during modelling. Component information, wall layers, fire protection and north alignment can be defined and adjusted in advance – per project or for the entire office. Also new is a BKI (Building Cost Information Centre – German Chambers of Architects) interface that transfers gross floor area, gross room volume, usable area, wall and ceiling surfaces as well as other element quantities directly to the BKI Cost Planner 2021. In this way, the expected costs can be determined without the need for transfer to a bill of quantities.
