3D Formwork and Sensors in Concrete
Formwork specialist Peri is also opting for digitisation, BIM and mobile apps. Besides 3D planning and visualisation, the latter encompasses planning coordination, automated collision checking, safety checklists and QR codes for object navigation. In addition, tablet solutions are used on a daily basis on construction sites to ensure the availability of relevant data. With Peri’s Extended Experience app, 3D visualisations of scaffolding projects can also be output on mobile devices. Users can integrate the different display types – Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) – into their planning and construction process. In a beta version, the Peri InSite Construction program ensures the quality of the concreting process. Using sensors, all the process phases can be checked quickly, precisely and efficiently and the results documented together, including the consistency and temperature of the concrete. Monitoring the pressure and distribution of the concrete in the formwork also increases safety. At the same time, time and costs are saved on the construction site.
