The rules of the card game: Who can find the matching pairs? Who can keep track? The winner is the player who manages to collect the most pairs.

A card game to mark the occasion of the designer Otl Aicher’s 100th birthday and the 50th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972. Otl Aicher’s pictograms for the sports event are milestones of design history and icons of contemporary culture. The graphic designer from Ulm created a simple and easily comprehensible system based on graphic symbols to help visitors and sportspeople find their way around the venue. His pictograms can be understood intuitively – irrespective of nationality, language or reading skills. They form part of a comprehensive design concept that Otl Aicher and his team developed for visual communication of the games in Munich.
