Schulz und Schulz
Brothers Ansgar and Benedikt Schulz have been running their architectural firm in Leipzig since 1992. Among their most notable projects are the Cloud Laboratory and the St. Trinitatis Catholic parish church in their native state of Saxony, the club grounds for the Schalke 04 soccer team in Gelsenkirchen and the Germany Embassy in Vienna. From 2010 to 2018, they jointly headed the Chair of Building Design at the Technical University of Dortmund. Since 2018, they have taught design and construction at the Technical University of Dresden. In the same year, they received the Grand DAI Prize for Building Culture for their architectural work and contribution to building culture. They are editors for the “Natural Stone Manual” published by Edition Detail.
